Summer Fair 2025 – How to get involved.

Summer Fair 2025 – How to get involved.

The Town Council are running a Summer Fair on Saturday 7 June 2025, between 12noon and 4pm, in Swanscombe Park, Park Road, Swanscombe.

As the theme is traditional summer fair we are looking to get the community involved at every opportunity.

As well as spaces to have stalls we have the following competitions and activities that anyone can enter.

Firstly , something for the kids.

We want our local children to design summer themed bunting to surround our performance arena.

To enter the child must be aged between 5-14 years old and live or go to school within the Town.

Simply print off the template  (link at the bottom) and either send it to us via email or drop it into the Council Offices with the name and age of the child along with a way of contacting you.

The entries will be judged on the day by the Town Mayor, with prizes given out.

Next something for the truly competitive amongst us.

We are going to hold a proper tug of war contest. This will be for pride and a suitably impressive trophy.

We need teams of 5 and these can be groups of friends, workmates or representing a club/business or group.

We are looking for both adult and child teams with the age cut off for adult as 15 and over.

All we need is your team name, list of participants with ages emailed to

And lastly, for those green fingered creatives in the Town.

We are operating a competition for the most decorative and wonderful flower arrangement.

Quite simply the only rule for this is that you have to be able to get your arrangement to the park on the day to be judged. It does not matter if you have flowers in a basket, pot or an old welly, the choice is yours.

If you would like to register to enter then please email at
