The Town Mayor, Cllr Dawn Johnston was honoured to meet with the Swanscombe & Greenhithe Local History Group who had been contacted by Mr Tony Fordham and his wife Sandra.
Tony and Sandra wished to donate a plethora of historic documents (postcards, books etc.) about Swanscombe and Greenhithe, especially the barges on the river.
Tony gave a fascinating resume of his life and what the local area was like when he was younger.
