Kent County Council gives notice that Alma Road, Swanscombe
will be closed to through traffic, on or after 26th January 2021 for up to 2 days.
The road will be closed at the whole length of the road.
The alternative route is via Diversion Route: High Street, The Grove, Orchard Road.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 09:30 hrs and 15:30 hrs each day.
This closure is necessary to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
Temporary Road Closure – Knockhall Road, Greenhithe – 21st January 2021 for 2 days between 09.30hrs and 16.30hrs
Knockhall Road, Greenhithe will be closed between Parkwood Hill and Eynsford Road.
The alternative route is Knockhall Road, Knockhall Chase, London Road and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway works are undertaken by Kent County Council.

Temporary Road Closure – High Street,
Swanscombe – 1st February 2021 for 8 nights between 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs
High Street, Swanscombe will be closed between Alma Road and All Saints Close.
The alternative route is High Street, Galley Hill Road, Stonebridge Road, Thames Way, Ebbsfleet Gateway, Southfleet Road, Stanhope Road and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while highway works are undertaken by Kent County Council.

KCC HAVE ADVISED THE POSTPONEMENT OF THIS ROAD CLOSURE DUE TO BAD WEATHER
Temporary Road Closure – Milton Road, Swanscombe – 3 October 2020 for 1 day
Milton Road, Swanscombe will be closed Church Road and Sweyne Road.
The alternative route is Church Road, Sweyne Road and Ames Road and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by KCC
for road maintenance.

A226 London Road, Swanscombe – (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) – THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY ORDER 2020.
To allow Southern Water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporary prohibit through traffic on part of the A226 London Road, Swanscombe.
A closure is planned from 23.00hrs on 18th December 2020 to 05.00hrs on 19th December 2020, or where stated on a valid permit ( LQ001SWAT10686472 – Southern Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network
A226 London Road, Swanscombe will be closed between High Street and Craylands Lane.
The alternative route for any through traffic:
Eastbound is via A226 Thames Way, A2260 Ebbsfleet Gateway, A2 Watling Street, Bean Lane,
B255 St Clements Way.
Westbound traffic is via B255 St Clements Way, Bean Lane, A296 Watling Street, A2 Watling Street,
A2 off slip onto A2260 Southfleet Road, A2260 Ebbsfleet Gateway, A226 Thames Way.
