The Town Council would like to thank the British Heart Foundation for funding the purchase and installation of a new life saving defibrillator, within a heated outdoor case, at Swanscombe Park, Park Road, Swanscombe.
This complements the other two units that the Town Council have in operation at Knockhall Recreation Ground, Greenhithe and at the Old Fire Station Community Cafe, Church Road, Swanscombe.
Town Mayor, Cllr Peter Harman, attended today to see the units installation and activation in readiness if needed.
This unit, along with the other owned by the Town Council, are all registered on the Circuit Network so the Ambulance Service can give directions to its location in an emergency.
